School House Education Specialist
Cindy Je was born in Korea and moved to the United States as a child. She earned her BA at UC Riverside and her MFA in creative writing at the University of Oregon. She has taught students from a range of backgrounds and ages, from middle school students to university students.
Cindy joined Home Away in 2005 and is also a teaching artist for WritersCorps. As a teaching artist, she teaches poetry at Hilltop Pregnant Minors Program and the San Francisco Main Public Library.
